Many dogs are happy being kenneled while their parents go on vacation. However, kenneling is not for every dog.

 

If your furry child is dog reactive or was rescued from a shelter, a kennel can be a very traumatic experience for him or her.

 

Rescued dogs have no way of knowing they haven't been put back in a shelter and dog reactive dogs will be extremely stressed by all the other dogs being in such close proximity to them.
